Question 1

Are you a law firm or immigration lawyers?

Accepted Answer

No. Čepule Relocation is an independent administrative assistance service. We help you understand processes, prepare documents and stay organised. We do not provide regulated immigration legal advice. Where your situation needs it, we can suggest that you speak to an appropriately qualified professional.

Question 2

Are you connected to any embassy, consulate or government?

Accepted Answer

No. We are not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate or visa application centre. Official decisions are made only by the relevant authorities.

Question 3

Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?

Accepted Answer

No one can honestly guarantee that. Using our service does not influence the authorities' decision. What we can do is help you submit a clear, complete and well-organised application based on the published requirements.

Question 4

Do South Africans need a visa to visit Europe?

Accepted Answer

At the time of writing, South African passport holders generally need a Schengen short-stay visa to visit Schengen countries such as Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Rules can change, so always confirm with the official embassy or consulate website before you plan.

Question 5

What is the difference between the EU, the EEA and Schengen?

Accepted Answer

The EU is a political and economic union. The EEA extends the EU single market to Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Schengen is a separate area without internal border controls that includes most EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. A Schengen short-stay visa covers short visits; living somewhere longer is governed by that country's national rules.

Question 6

Which countries do you help with?

Accepted Answer

We specialise in Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, and assist with travel and relocation across the European Union — including our Baltic neighbours Latvia and Estonia, as well as countries such as Poland, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Ireland. For destinations beyond our featured four, what we can offer depends on the country and your circumstances, so we confirm it case by case.

Question 7

Is Switzerland part of the EU?

Accepted Answer

No. Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area, so short visits follow the common Schengen rules, but it is not a member of the EU or the EEA. Longer stays are governed by Swiss national rules, often with cantonal authorities involved.

Question 8

Do you offer in-person help in every country?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Remote administrative preparation — checklists, document organisation, review and planning — is available for any EU member state and Switzerland. Hands-on, practical support varies by country and is agreed with you case by case. We don't act as your legal representative in any country.

Question 9

I'm not South African — can you still help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. South Africans are a large part of our clients, but we welcome enquiries from people of all nationalities — from Mauritius, other African countries, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and beyond.

Question 10

Do your prices include government fees?

Accepted Answer

No. Our fees cover our assistance only. Government application fees, visa application centre charges, translations, legalisation, insurance and other third-party costs are paid separately.

Question 11

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

For now, every service starts with an enquiry. We confirm the scope with you first and then share payment details. Online card payments will be added later.

Question 12

Should I send my passport or bank statements?

Accepted Answer

Please don't send passport scans, bank statements or other sensitive documents through this website. We only ask for what we need to understand your situation. If documents are needed later, we'll agree a secure way to share them.
